Eastern gamagrass
(Tripsacum dactyloides)

Eastern gamagrass is a warm-season perennial bunchgrass that exhibits a monoecious characteristics.  The basal part of the seed head branches are female flowers that produce seed.  Most of the other florets produce only pollen.
